IRISH RAISIN BREAD
For a 1 lb loaf: 1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast 2 cups bread flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons butter 1 medium egg 1/4 cup warm water 1/3 cup warm milk 1/2 cup raisins (add at beep)
Add all ingredients except the raisings to the pan in the order listed. Press the MED button. Press the start button. The electronic beeper sounds 10 times 5 minutes before the secondary kneading is finished. At this signal, add the raisins. After removing the baked bread from the oven and pan, let cool before slicing.
